Okey!! I'm back from the Vietnam trip!! It was damn fun..
I was enjoying myself all the the way!! I guess so.. ahahas..
i have alot alot of things to share so, i guess my post gonna be long.. bare with it ok!! (:
Day 1 (01/06/08)
Assemble at the airport at 15:30. Check in and collect bardind pass ard 4.30pm.
Supposingly our flight depart at 18.10 but b'coz of technical problem, it dragg-ed till 20.50pm.. hmmm.. Arrive at hanoi at 1.30am. Reach-ed La thanh Hotel (3 star hotel) ard 2.30am.
Had de-brief and more.. slept at 3.45 am.
First experience taking aeroplane, it was so scary but cooolll!!
Day 2 (02/06/08)
Woke up at 7am.. Morning call was at 6.45am.. Miss it.. hehe.. too tired..
Had breakfast.. Omg!! :(
Assemble at 8.15am. Board the bus and zoooooomm to the temple of literature..
time spend there about 30-45 minutes.
little history bout it:
The oldest Vietnamese University. Considered Hanoi's first university, King Ly Thanh Tong founded this temple to pay tribute to education and those of high academic achievement. Though, it closed its doors over 200 years ago, this place is still popular with art students. Many lined the courtyards trying to capture traditonal Vietnamese architecture.
Then went Lake Hoan Kiem & Ngoc Son Temple. Time spent ard 20-30 minutes there.
Little History about it:
Hanoi is known for her numerous lakes. The geographical lakes have significient importance to the livelihood and lifestyle of the Vietnamese. Hoan Kiem Lake is to Hanoi what Central Park is to New York City. It is a focal point for people to meet and what makes the city such a joy to live in. The name of the lake means Lake of the Restord Sword and comes from the legend about such a magical instrument given the local Emperor to drive the Chinese out of Vietnamese. After the war, a giant golden tortise snatched the sword from him while he was out fishing and took it to the depths of the beautiful lake. Thap Rua or the Tortise Tower lays scenically on a center island of the lake, making for more reflection photos.
Had lunch at India Palace Restaurant.. The food is sooo not nice.. Is killing.. The service also not good!! :(
After that we went to visit the Lomonoxov High School with interactive activities..
This is an exchange session with High School students during which participants could share thier fact-findings with the students. The Vietnamese students would share with participants their views of the historical, cultural and political evolution in Vietam, as well as the education system they are undergoing, the strengths and efficiencies. Also it enables participants and the Vietnamese students to discuss and explore areas where they can collaborate, e.g in the setting up ma virtual community where can constantly and regularly communicate, exchange information and organize subsequent visits.
Had early dinner then watch-ed water puppet show. - a unique performance.
Back to hotel at ard 8pm. when out for a while to get some snack at the nearest shop. slept at ard 3 plus..
Day 3 (03/0/08)
Woke up at 6.45 am. Breakfast at 7.30am..
Went to SOS children village.. Perforne malay dance. Then had lunch at Nisa restaurant.. It was so bloody nise!! i was so touched by the food!! hehe :)
Then went to Bat trang Cultural village. i did the clay all by myself.. cool kan??!!
then went shopping at Dong Xuan market.. The toilet sux alot :(
then had dinner at india palace again!! omg :(
back to hotel.. then went down again.. then the fun parts come where nadirah and nuriati had accident on thier legs all b'coz of me!! then i was lost in the hotel itself.. Farhana was shocked b'coz of me again and lastly, ahli mesyuarat tingkap!! haha
Had bath, did documentery and slept at 4 am!!

Day 4 (04/06/08)
Morning call 5.45am.. Woke up at 5am.
Breakfast at 7am.. At 8, departure to ha long bay!! otw, went to Sao Do centre then had lunch at 11.30am at lunch at Mithrin hotel. 13.00 pm had boat trip. 16.00 transfer back to Hano..
had dinner at india palace restaurant again!! :(
return to hotel at ard 8.30.. had bath and slept ard 3 plus..
Day 5 (05/06/08)
Woke up at 5am. Breakfast at 7am. 8, transfer to visit the fascinating ho chi minh mausoleum. then visit ho chi monh museum. then had lunch at khazana restaurant!! celebrate aaron's b'dae!! Happy birthday Harimau!! (:
went shopping with far, ati, dirah, aaron, gulam, faez and matin!! be back by 5 but we still shopping.. had dinner at nisa restaurant!! Fun fun fun!! (:
return to hanoi airport at rd 6 plus.. fligt back s'pore (:
Day 6 (06/06/08)
Reach s'pore at 1.25 am!! had final de-brief at bach home.. mak and big brother fetched me!! ahaha.. till singapore!! sweet sweet home!! (:
Funny things occur:
Farhana says that sejak i'm at vietnam, i sapuk three things which are
- Hantu ketawer
- Hantu watermelon
- Hantu sayur!!
Then, nadirah called me bodoh just becoz i show concern to nuriati!!
lastly, Nuriati (censesored) atas my katil and my room!!!

'Well, thank u all the teachers who have given this opprtunities to all the 64 students!! i really enjoy the trip.. i wish that this will happen often!! Hahaha..'
